Accessibility

We want Kinjaz Dojo to be usable by as many people as possible, and we would rather tell you where it falls short than claim it does not.
What we aim for
We build towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our target. We have not yet had an independent audit against it, so we are not claiming conformance — we are telling you what we are working to.
What is in place
- Semantic, keyboard-navigable pages and standard form controls.
- A video player with keyboard controls, adjustable volume and playback position, and full-screen support.
- Text that reflows and scales with browser zoom and system font size.
- Alt text on meaningful imagery.
Known gaps
Being straight about the main one: our classes do not currently have captions or transcripts. They are movement instruction with spoken counts and cues, so this genuinely matters for deaf and hard-of-hearing members. It is a real gap, we know about it, and we have not fixed it yet.
Colour contrast in a few places on the darker brand surfaces may fall short of AA, and some of the studio-side administrative screens have had less accessibility attention than the member-facing ones.
The site uses scroll and reveal animation in places, and it does not yet fully honour the “reduce motion” setting on your device. If motion is a problem for you, tell us — this one is fixable and we would rather know it is affecting someone.
If something is in your way
Email anthony@kinjaz.com and tell us what you were trying to do and what stopped you. That is not a form letter — specific reports are how this gets better, and we would rather hear it than have you quietly cancel.
If you need a class in a format we do not currently offer, ask. We may be able to help directly even where the site cannot yet.
